    Since 1806 Linde Loßburg has been a place of cultivated and traditional hospitality with a friendly family atmosphere.
    The Restaurant and the Guesthouse are next to each other.

    Whether you love Swabian specialties or traditional cuisine, we will make your culinary heartbeat faster. Swabian specialties - cold or warm - are freshly prepared by our kitchen team. We pay attention to regionality and sustainability when selecting our products! We serve quality which you will taste.
    Our delicious Black Forest snacks are something special.

    We have been producing noble schnapps (brandy) in our house distillery for generations, such as Black Forest Cherry, Mirabelle, Plum, or Williams’ Christ Pear!

    In our Guesthouse you will feel at home and forget the everyday life.
    The breakfast room is also our cozy lounge area. During the cold season the tiled stove crackles already at breakfast. You start your day with our lovingly set breakfast buffet which leaves no wishes open: it is rich in variety and stocked with many fresh products. Just fantastic to start the day.

    Upon your arrival, our modernly furnished single and double rooms provide feel-good moments: Living like at home, in a caring environment and without everyday stress.

    Equipped with a seating area, shower, toilet, direct-dial telephone, TV, and free Wi-Fi access, our accommodations offer you the perfect comfort.

    All our rooms have a balcony or terrace, bringing you even closer to the Black Forest landscape. Fresh air, sunbeams, a gentle breeze – all balm for body and soul.

    Our exclusive apartments are designed for three to five persons and provide ample space for relaxing days in Loßburg and the Black Forest region. They feature a separate bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, toilet, telephone, TV, and free Wi-Fi access. Bed linen and towels are provided. We have prepared everything for you. Thus, you can start also a relaxing family vacation.

    Enjoy one of the perfectly marked hiking trails or one of the numerous mountain bike rides offering different challenge levels. The Black Forest is well-known for its premium hiking trails.

    Get to know the rich culture and traditions, or visit one of the castles or a museum, or hop-on a city tour. All giving you interesting insights to the Black Forest, its culture and people.

    The Black Forest Plus Card is giving you free access to many Black Forest attractions.
    As our guest you will receive the card from us automatically at no extra cost with a minimum of two overnight stays.

    Surroundings

    Loßburg, home town of Linde

    Loßburg is a spa town. The northern Black Forest is known for its healthy stimulating climate.

    At an elevation of 600 to 850 m above sea level, you can enjoy a magnificent view over the mountainous landscape all the way to the Swabian Jura. Here you can breathe deeply and recharge your energy.

    In summer, you can cool off in the heated outdoor pool. The indoor pool with sauna lifts your mood during gloomy weather. For the little ones, the Magical Land Lake Kinzig with a water fountain playground is a guaranteed fun. Endless walking and hiking trails and well-maintained cross-country ski trails in winter are great experience for the sporty ones among us.

    Freudenstadt

    The district town of Freudenstadt, just 7 km away, has the largest marketplace in Germany. Here is the starting point of the Black Forest High Mountain Road. In addition to excellent shopping opportunities, you will find the Panoramabad leisure pool with a giant slide, wellness area, a sauna landscape and an 18-hole golf course.

    Alpirsbach

    The town has countless sights and attractions and is only 10 km away. A historic old town, an old former Benedictine monastery, a brewery museum, a glassblowing workshop, and a bathing lake in the district of Reinerzau. Alpirsbach is certainly worth a day trip.

      Excursions

      Loßburg is located in the heart of the Northern Black Forest.

      There is much to experience and discover within a radius of 50 kilometers (km): stroll through the spa town of Baden-Baden and visit the world-famous casino and the spa house, dive into the cultural history of the Black Forest at the site Vogtsbauernhof in Gutach.

      If you are in the mood for a city tour, take a day trip to the nearby cities of Strasbourg, Stuttgart, or Freiburg.

      Children will be delighted by a visit to Europa-Park Rust, or Lothar Trail along the Black Forest Mountain Road is also impressive.

      From here, it is just a short distance to the famous Mummelsee and Hornisgrinde. Or you can experience the history and castle of the Noble House of Hohenzollern offering a great view over a fantastic landscape.

      We are happy to provide with guidance and recommendations for your activities and excursions whether on foot, by bike, or by car.
